Back when U.S. History was taught to juniors I use to expose students to conspiracy theories. Then they would try to prove or disprove one. They use to love this unit.

This project is actually a close to 10 years old. This was back when when had Avid video computers in the old social studies lab which is no more. Students had to use video clips about their time periods to tell a story.
